Fayette Volunteer Fire Department voted in our line officers this past Thursday night and they were approved by the board of fire commissioners tonight. They are as follows:

We would also like to thank Chief Halladay for his 25 years as chief of our department. His leadership has brought us to where we are today. Thank you for all you have done!

At 7:52AM this morning Romulus Volunteer Fire Department Inc. requested Fayette for assistance with a car that slid thru a guardrail at Ernsberger Rd and Route 89. No injuries to both occupants but due to precarious position of the car we had to add straps for stabilization prior to proceeding with extrication. The occupants were with North Seneca Ambulance and Fayette was back in service within the hour.

On Saturday, January 31st, around 7:15pm, Fayette Fire Department was dispatched along with automatic mutual aid to 1470 route 336 trailer #11 for an fully engulfed trailer fire. Upon arrival it was confirmed heavy fire.

A huge thank you to all who assisted; Romulus, Varick, Waterloo, & North Seneca Ambulance. All units were back in service around 9:30pm.
