💙🦋 Shades of blue, elegant florals, and beautiful quilting texture come together in this stunning quilt! The rich black setting fabric makes every blue print pop, while the center panel creates a striking focal point that draws your eye right in.

I love how the quilting adds movement across the entire piece, giving it depth and dimension without taking away from the gorgeous fabrics. This is one of those quilts that looks beautiful from across the room and even better up close when you can appreciate all the details.

🇺🇸 This one is a showstopper! Melody created this beautiful 70” x 90” patriotic quilt as a gift for a dear friend, and it was an honor to add the finishing touches. The center panel, bold colors, and pieced borders come together to create a quilt that celebrates both friendship and country.

I quilted it with Star Spangled by Karen Farnsworth, a design that perfectly complements the patriotic theme. For extra warmth and drape, I used Hobbs Tuscany Wool/Cotton Blend batting, and the backing is a luxurious minky from my studio stock. The texture on this quilt is absolutely wonderful!

This special quilt is now finished and ready to head back to Melody in Harrisonburg before it begins its journey to its lucky new owner. ❤️🤍💙

Soft, elegant, and timeless 🌿 This beautiful 51” x 77” quilt features classic fabrics and a lovely texture created with Tropical Leaf with Curl by Lori Thomas of It’s a Quilt Thing. The flowing design adds just the right amount of movement while complementing the quilt’s traditional style.

I supplied the batting for this project and completed the quilting, while Susan provided the quilt top and backing. Susan and I meet at Loose Threads in Staunton, Virginia, and this lovely quilt is now finished and ready to head home.

I quilted it with Crayon by Anne Bright, a playful pattern that perfectly complements the colorful rows and adds wonderful movement across the quilt.
