More about me:
Since the age of 13, I have had the privilege of traveling to 16 different countries within 4 different continents. Most of these trips where mission trips and one of the trips I traveled as a student ambassador, which encompassed 4 of those countries. Going on these trips have opened up my eyes to many things and has helped me to appreciate the things here in America, as well as, appreciate having the opportunity of being welcomed into these countries. These trips have helped me to learn about different cultures, beliefs, and about other peoples day-to-day lives. I am about to visit my 17th country, Israel, and I am so excited! One of my passions is to help provide opportunities or encourage youth and young adults to travel and get a worldly perspective. My worldly perspective has been able to help me understand that there are people with different beliefs, cultures, and thoughts. Does not mean that I have to agree with them but it allows me to understand them better and treat others with respect. We have to begin to encourage communication, discussion, and tolerance. We are called as humans to treat others the way we want to be treated and to love our neighbors. You might be saying, “with all those trips you would think that you would want to move out of your hometown lol, however, I feel that God has called me back to Little ole Seneca SC and to use the tools that He has blessed me with to impact our community.
I would like to give a shout out to all my friends in England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Jamaica, Bahamas, South Korea , and of course all those all over the USA!!! Thank you for welcoming me into your countries, homes, churches, and lives! You all have truly been a blessing!
