➡️ No pre-staging, vehicles will be parked upon arrival

🎵 Live music by River Road Trio: 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM

ROAD CLOSURE DETAILS FOR THE SENECA CRUISE NIGHT:
Effective Saturday, August 29, 2026 during the approximate time period between 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Route 170 will be closed between Douglass Street and Union Street and on Armour Street one block off of Route 170 to Crotty Street for the 2026 Seneca Cruise Night event.

Detour route shall be posted as follows: East on Douglas Street to South on Vaughey continuing South on Commerce Street and West on Union Street to Main Street (Route 170). The parking of vehicles shall be prohibited on the detour routes to allow an uninterrupted flow of two-way traffic.

We appreciate the residents’ patience during this event and apologize for any inconvenience.

📣 Storm Debris Cleanup Update 📣

Storm debris cleanup will continue over the next two weeks as Public Works crews work through the remaining areas. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we balance debris removal with our normal operations.

The office of the Village Clerk and Local Election Official in and for the Village of Seneca, located at 340 N. Cash Street, Seneca, Illinois, will be open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., for individuals wishing to obtain candidate petition packets beginning Tuesday, August 25, 2026, for the April 6, 2027 Consolidated Election.

Candidate petitions for the Consolidated Election will be accepted by the Village Clerk's Office beginning Monday, November 16, 2026, through Monday, November 23, 2026.

The following nonpartisan municipal offices will be on the ballot:
- 1 Mayor (Four-Year Term)
- 4 Commissioner (Four-Year Terms)

The 2027 Candidate's Guide for the Consolidated Election is available on the Illinois State Board of Elections website at www.elections.il.gov
