We had a wonderful time yesterday welcoming students from Nemaha Central Elementary Middle School to the Nemaha County Historical Society for our Third Grade Tours!
The students explored local history through hands-on activities including typewriters, telephones, cameras, sewing machines, fingerprinting, egg sorting, stereoscopes, and more. It was exciting to watch them learn how everyday life has changed over the years while getting the chance to try many of these historic tools for themselves.
Thank you to the teachers, staff, volunteers, and students for making the day so much fun. We hope the students went home with great memories — and maybe even a few stories to share with their families about their favorite activity!
