I thank all of the citizens of Kansas House of Representatives District #62 who voted on Tuesday, November 6th, particularly all 2,582 who honored me with your balloting.

I am grateful to family, friends, campaign staff, and supporters who generously contributed their time and efforts to my campaign. Thank you for your guidance, for your generosity, for your inspiration, and, most importantly, for your presence throughout the campaign.

I congratulate Representative Garber on his win and encourage him to listen to and abide by his constituents when he represents all of us.

While falling short of the votes needed to win, I am anxious and prepared for opportunities to serve the citizens of Kansas as the future unfolds.

First time walking in the 2018 Hiawatha Halloween Frolic. It is amazing how much candy we have handed or thrown to the crowds since July 4th! The number of people we have met and will meet. Thank you to all the walkers this past week as we went door to door in Hiawatha and northern part of Horton.

As of September 2018 more than 7,000 Kansas youth are in Foster Care. Parental drug abuse and neglect are primary causes. Help me in providing effective resolutions and treatment for family members. A vote for Baker on November 6th will provide an advocate in fixing this crisis.

Thank you to all who attended my fundraiser on Sunday, September 30th. Congratulations to the Weber kiddos on winning the bike raffle. Hopefully big brother will share time riding with his little sister. Congratulations also going to Jim and Carol Kohake on winning the quilt raffle.
