Jail Booking/Release:
• Carldren K. Brantley, 43, Missouri, TX was arrested by NMSO on 5-23-2026 for the offenses of Driving without Liability Insurance, Driving without Valid License, Illegal Registration and Speeding. He was released on 5-24-2026 on $1,175 cash bond with a court date of 6-23-2026 at 9:30 a.m.
• Matthew J. Bruns, 42, Atlantic, IA was arrested by NMSO on 5-25-2026 for the offense of Driving while Suspended. He was released on 5-25-2026 on $250 cash bond with a court date of 6-16-2026 at 9:30 a.m.
• Daniel R. Jensen, 25, Seneca was arrested by NMSO on 5-25-2026 for the offense of Domestic Battery. He remains in custody.
Crash Reports:
• On 5-20-2026 at 10:00a.m. Kylei Sullivan, 17, Seneca was southbound on M Road 0.1 mile North of 176th Road when she lost control of her vehicle on the loose gravel causing her to go into the ditch. Sullivan was driving a 2011 GMC 1500. She was transported to Nemaha Valley Community Hospital with injuries. Over $1000 damage.
• On 5-15-2026 at 3:15p.m. Benjamin Glace, 46, Sabetha was traveling west on Main Street in Bern at O Road when his vehicle collided with a vehicle driven by Haley Wood, 16, Bern who was traveling North on O Road. Glace was driving a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado. Wood was driving a 2006 Ford F150. Over $1000 damage.
• On 5-20-2026 at 4:09 a.m. Teddy R. Morfitt, Jr., 55, Netawaka was traveling northbound on W Road just north of 116th Road when he struck a deer. He was driving a 2020 Mitsubishi. Over $1,000.
