Chestnut Street for repairs. Once the repairs are complete notification will be posted.

City of Seneca Water Boil Advisory issued for March 24, 2026 for the Hansen Addition residents and area residents and businesses east of Chestnut Street, including Highway K and Cherry Street.

City Wide Cleanup will be May 6, 7 and 8, 2026 for Seneca residents only. Please bring a current water bill to verify residency.

Items that will not be accepted are: tires, paint, shingles, household trash or yard waste.

The dumpsters will be located at the Seneca Recycling Center at the Seneca Public Works location. Hours will be 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Due to the Labor Day holiday on Monday, September 1, 2025 Republic residential trash service in Seneca will be scheduled from Wednesday to Thursday, September 4, 2025 that week.

Republic Services has reported the trash truck is broken down. Trash pickup will be delayed until later today. Residents on the west side of Main Street are impacted.
