🚒 A HUGE THANK YOU FROM THE SEQUATCHIE AREA VOLUNTEER FIRE ASSOCIATION! 🚒
We want to take a moment to recognize and sincerely thank everyone who helped make our new SCBA air bottle filling system a reality.
🔥 Tennessee State Fire Marshal’s Office — Thank you for providing the funding that allowed our department to purchase this much-needed equipment and make a major investment in the safety of our firefighters and our community.
🔧 High Tech Rescue — Thank you for providing and installing our new Coltri air bottle filling system and for helping us get this equipment up and running.
⚡ Clay Easterly — A special thank you for completing all of the final electrical work and finishing touches necessary to get the system installed and operational.
🔥 Tennessee Fire & Equipment of Chattanooga — Thank you for your support and assistance throughout this process.
This project is a tremendous addition to our department and will allow us to better maintain our SCBA air supply and keep our firefighters prepared to answer the call.
We are extremely grateful to everyone who invested their time, resources, and expertise into helping make this possible.

Busy weekend around the hall. Yesterday was a great training day. Today we had some much needed maintenance done to our drive and parking area. Thanks to John Hood and his equipment it made quick work. 60 tons of chat was spread and leveled in no time. Videos in the comments

Today members learned how to properly don and doff their PPE including SCBA. After they were comfortable with that they were exposed with a real life scenario of having to don their gear and packs to extinguish a live car fire. Here members were introduced to live heat and changing evolutions of fire stages. Each member got nozzle time while breathing live air until they had used up their supply. Videos in the comments!!!
