Sequim Food Bank The Sequim Food Bank is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides food to our community. We are a community-supported organization.

Our goal is to ensure that "No one goes hungry in our Community." We strive to highlight five core values in our work:

• Compassion and Respect: Turn no one away from services and always encourage positive relationships with clients and the community.

• Stewardship & Sustainability – Be responsible stewards of our resources with focus on providing well maintained, safe facility and equipment a

nd minimizing waste as possible.

• Education & Prevention – Commit to promoting healthy eating while reducing hunger and striving to understand, eliminate and prevent the root causes of hunger.

• Collaboration & Cooperation – Engage and involve a network of community members.

• Diversity & Multiculturalism – Understand the diverse individual and cultural needs in our community. The Sequim Food Bank assisted more than 2,100 different families at least once in 2014. Approximately 30% of the food we send "out the door" helps to feed a child under the age of 18; approximately 20% helps to feed an adult over the age of 55. Food drives and donations from local groceries account for much of the food we distribute, while financial contributions allow us to maintain a regular supply of important basics like milk and eggs. Volunteers are the heart of our operation. The Sequim Food Bank has more than 50 active adult volunteers and more than a dozen active youth volunteers.

Our 2nd Annual Everyone at the Table event is almost here.

Come share a meal, enjoy live local music, and celebrate what makes this community so extraordinary: donors, volunteers, staff, partners, local businesses, and neighbors all standing together with a shared belief that when we take care of each other, our whole community grows stronger.

Your support also strengthens programs like Welcome Home Foods. With support of our wonderful volunteer delivery drivers, neighbors receive nutritious ready-to-heat meals while recuperating at home during the first four weeks after a hospital discharge. 🎉 WE DID IT! Our Cold Storage Fund goal has been met! 🎉

Thank you to every single person and family who donated and shared our posts. Because of YOU, we've reached our goal —and that means more frozen meats proteins staying safe and ready at the Sequim Food Bank for families in our community who need them most. This community showed up, and we couldn't be prouder to call Sequim home.

Together, we're making sure no one in our community goes hungry. Thank you for being part of it!

Clean out those old electronics and give back to the community at the same time! Join us for the Sequim Electronic Recycling Event, benefiting the Sequim Food Bank and the Kiwanis Club of Port Angeles.

Everyone belongs. Everyone has value. Everyone has a place at the table.
Join us Saturday, Sept. 19 for our 2nd Annual Everyone at the Table event — an afternoon of good food, local music, fun crafts, and community connection, right here at the Sequim Food Bank.
This event also helps us reach neighbors who can't come to us — through our Home Delivery program, which brings food directly to homebound seniors and families who are unable to leave their homes, so they never lose access to the food they need.
Whether you're a longtime supporter or new to our mission, there's a place for you. Come be part of it.
