We remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

This Memorial Day, Fire District 3 joins our community in reflecting on the sacrifice, courage, and dedication of those who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect the freedoms we enjoy today.

We extend our gratitude to the families who carry that loss, and we encourage everyone to take a moment today to remember our fallen service members.

It’s EMS Week! We want to recognize the commitment of our EMTs, paramedics, firefighters, and support personnel who answer the call day and night. Thank you for the care you provide, the calm you bring in emergencies, and the difference you make in the lives of our community members every single day.

At Fire District 3, EMS is at the heart of what we do. In 2025, our District responded to 9,824 requests for service. Of those calls, 82% were EMS-related, showing just how often our community depends on emergency medical care when it matters most. Of those EMS responses, 75% were Basic Life Support (BLS) calls and 25% were Advanced Life Support (ALS) calls, reflecting the wide range of care our crews provide every day. While fire-related calls made up about 1.06% of our total responses, the remainder included burn complaints, service calls, false alarms, unintentional alarms, and cancelled calls.

Please join us in celebrating EMS Week and thanking the responders who are always there when help is needed most.
