Math Department Spotlight
Our Silver Knight Math team brings over 120 years of combined experience to the classroom! From Algebra and Geometry to Calculus, AP Statistics, and Consumer Math, our educators are dedicated to helping students unlock their potential and discover that math is far less terrifying and far more fun than it looks.
Led by veterans like David Geertsema (37 years) and Melissa Santo (19 years, here since opening day!), alongside passionate educators like Aryn Stack, Meghan Spieker, Ian Adams, Christopher Fowler, and Carson Wray, our department is built on collaboration, perseverance, and the belief that it's always Safe to Try. Whether they're coaching cross country, sponsoring the Rock Climbing Club, or coordinating the Paladin program, our team brings energy and support to every lesson.
From focused practice and learning from mistakes to approaching math like a new language, our math department is here to help every student succeed. Here's to a year of problem-solving, growth, and "aha" moments!
