Tonight’s 8th grade celebration was fabulous! We kicked off the evening with some amazing Past, Present, Future projects that truly showcased our students and their journeys.

The rain stayed away, and we were able to enjoy a wonderful evening filled with a short ceremony, pizza, dancing, games, laughter, and so much fun. What a great way to celebrate an incredible group of students as they get ready for their next chapter at Severance High School. Once a Hawk, Always a Hawk!

Tuesday was a busy and exciting day for the SMS Performing Arts Department! During the school day, our 7th graders shared their incredible talents with elementary students at Range View and Hollister Lake. That evening, our jazz band helped welcome future Hawks at 5th Grade Transition Night.

We’d love to see as many incoming Hawks as possible join band, choir, or orchestra this fall! If your student is interested in being part of our performing arts program, visit our website for more information on signing up for choir or reserving a spot at our Instrument Exploration Night on May 4th from 5:00–7:30 PM.

We are so excited to have performed our final dress rehearsal of Alice in Wonderland for the 5th graders in our district! 🎭✨

A huge thank you to Range View Elementary, Orchard Hill Elementary, Skyview School of STEM, Mountain View Elementary - Windsor, and Hollister Lake Elementary, for attending and supporting our students. And an extra big thank you to Severance High School for opening up the auditorium and welcoming all of us!

Don't Be Mad, Come See Alice in Wonderland!

The SMS Drama Department is bringing Disney's Alice in Wonderland, Jr. to the stage Thursday, April 30th at 6pm, Friday, May 1st at 6pm and Saturday, May 2nd at 2pm in the Severance High School auditorium.

Join us for a fantastic show and witness the incredible hard work of our students!

General admission presale tickets are available today- get yours at the link below!

Adults- $10
Students- $5
Children 3 and under- free

Doors open 30 minutes before showtimes, and tickets are also available for purchase at the door.

Tomorrow night, April 28th, we are hosting our 5th grade transition night to welcome our newest Hawks to the building! Join us for a scavenger hunt throughout the building from 4:30-6:30pm, with two information presentations at 5:00pm and 5:45pm in the gym. We ask that parents and 5th graders attend one information presentation to hear all about what to expect in middle school, meet teachers, and have questions answered.

If your student has an IEP or 504, you can stop in room A105 from 4:30-5:00pm to ask specific questions.
