Today our 6th grade students stepped into the shoes of professional cartographers. Students teamed up, merging math concepts with social studies map-making techniques to create detailed maps of part of our building.

Today our middle school staff spent time axe throwing as part of our team and culture building. 🪓

Beyond the laughs and friendly competition, we reflected on an important lesson: everyone’s target is different. For some, success is simply hitting the board, while for others it’s a bullseye. Just like our students, every small win deserves to be celebrated.

We also connected it to how we give and receive feedback—helping each other grow, adjust, and keep aiming for our best.

A great day of building relationships, growing together, and having fun! We can’t wait for our Hawks to join us in the building!

Tonight’s 8th grade celebration was fabulous! We kicked off the evening with some amazing Past, Present, Future projects that truly showcased our students and their journeys.

The rain stayed away, and we were able to enjoy a wonderful evening filled with a short ceremony, pizza, dancing, games, laughter, and so much fun. What a great way to celebrate an incredible group of students as they get ready for their next chapter at Severance High School. Once a Hawk, Always a Hawk!
