SPAN, Inc. SPAN’s support reaches out to neighbors in need throughout 14 zip codes in Anne Arundel County.

SPAN assists neighbors in need with food and financial assistance with utility cutoffs, court-ordered evictions, and medical prescriptions in Anne Arundel County. Primary service areas are Severna Park, Millersville, Arnold, and Broadneck. Secondary service areas include Crofton*, Crownsville*, Odenton*, Gambrills*, Linthicum, Severn, Pasadena**, and Glen Burnie**.

Summer is the slow time for donations at SPAN, but hunger doesn't take a vacation. Help us finish this slow season strong! Most needed: canned vegetables, canned meat, sides - rice, potatoes, Hamburger and Tuna Helper, oatmeal, pancake mix and syrup. Also basic toiletries, laundry detergent and dish soap are a BIG help! Thank you!

A HUGE thank you to Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, Severna Park 's Vacation Bible School. It was fun to see them arrive each morning and guess what that day's theme for donations was. Monday was Breakfast, then Condiments on Tuesday, Canned Meat, Cleaning Supplies and Snack Attack! The number of items each day kept growing: 98, 144, 279 and then I lost count!!! Thank you so much!
