We were up at the cabin (https://patriotgetaways.com/cabins/in-pigeon-forge/bears-dont-bluff.html) to change some batteries in the security system and to replace some worn out rocking chairs. While there we found, as usual, a number of things that needed attention. 😉

We also decided to make some changes that had been on our "radar"...

We replaced the last of the plastic seating that had been part of the previous owner's "decor" and added the dusk-to-dawn lighting we had been wanting (around the upper deck).

A few days well spent!

Fall and Winter are truly the best times to visit the Smoky Mountains. The setting is so serene, the heat and humidity are down.

We enjoy getting out to our cabin at this time to freshen things up and plan for needed changes.

This comfortable cabin with a great view is 100% booked for the Summer (June and July), but has plenty of availability through the end of the year.

May and September are amazing in the Smokys...
All the businesses and attractions are open, but the area is not over-crowded.
