Wheatlands Plantation host the Smokey Mountain Historical Scoiety spring meeting about 100 in attendance. This first opening of the federal home for viewing was a great success. Civil War displays by Bill Walker 8th TN US Medical unit were discussed and other Civil War people were in attendance. ShopCuriosities of facebook and a local merchant provided individual gifts to attendees & card reading. The tours and other entertainment was enjoyed by all. Wheatlands has major announcements in the near future, please watch!!!! and see what's happening
