It is with incredibly heavy hearts that the United Way of Sevier County mourns the passing of our beloved hometown hero, 𝗗𝗼𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗼𝗻. While the world has lost a legendary icon, Sevier County has lost family. Her boundless generosity and unwavering love for her Smoky Mountain home have forever changed our community.

For several years, Dolly quietly and powerfully championed our mission by providing matching funds for the United Way of Sevier County’s Dancing with the Stars event. Her incredible support didn't just break fundraising records, it transformed lives right here in her backyard.

Because of Dolly’s matching funds, we have been able to sustain and expand vital programs through our local partner agencies. Her contributions have directly helped fund:

💙 Mountain Hope Good Shepherd Clinic, providing essential medical and dental care to uninsured residents.
💙 SafeSpace Sevier County, offering a secure haven and trauma-informed programs for domestic violence survivors.
💙 Sevier County Council on Aging, ensuring our local seniors receive emergency utility assistance, prescription vouchers, and in-home safety equipment.
💙 Boys and Girls Club of the Smoky Mountains, giving our youth a safe, empowering place to learn and grow.
💙 Smoky Mountain Area Rescue Ministries (SMARM), assisting families facing homelessness and sudden crisis.

Dolly’s legacy of love will continue to live on in every meal served, every child mentored, and every family given a second chance. We are forever grateful for her heart, her vision, and her dedication to the people of Sevier County.
