Sevier County Food Ministries

Clay Leatherwood of the Gatlinburg Rotary Club, a longtime supporter of Sevier County Food Ministries, made another contribution to Director Jim Davis during a weekly meeting this month at Rocky Top Sports World. Davis updated the group on SCFM's new building construction which will house Sevier County Food Ministries' Thrift Store. The Horner Building Company project is nearing completion just in time for the holidays.

God is Good!
Look at this incredible accumulation of non-perishable food donated in one week by the congregation of Pathways Church.
Our neighbors at Sevier County Food Ministries will be thrilled.
The Pathways family is collecting oatmeal, mashed potatoes and ramen noodles for us for the entire month of October in celebration of the autumn season.
What a huge blessing!
SCFM is proud to be able to assist more than 1,000 families each week with supplemental food assistance.
We have been blessed with large amounts of produce since early summer as well as bread and sweets, meats, dairy and non-perishable food.
We've given away nearly two million pounds of food already this year.
Soon we will open up our new addition, a 3,000-foot building which will house our thrift store operation.
The new digs will allow our thrift store to open mornings and on Saturdays. And it will give us more room in our existing building to give away more food.
Praise the Lord for Pathways Church and all the churches, individuals and businesses that support our mission to feed the hungry.
God is Good!

Our expansion is taking shape, and we’re so excited to watch this vision become a reality!

What started as a dream to create more space to serve our community is becoming something we can see right before our eyes. This expansion will allow us to grow, serve more neighbors, and continue meeting the needs of our community with food, hope, and dignity.

We are so grateful for everyone who has prayed, donated, volunteered, and supported this project along the way. Your generosity is helping make this possible!

The need is growing, and so are we. ❤️
We can’t wait to continue sharing the progress with you!
