Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center, Inc. envisions a community where child abuse ends. We firmly believe that every child deserves to live free from abuse and trauma. Tragically, 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 13 boys are victims of sexual abuse before their 18th birthday.

Safe Harbor is a place where hope and healing begin. We are dedicated to serving children and adolescents who are victims of abuse and trauma through intervention, treatment, and prevention education.

In the past week, we’ve had the opportunity to speak at Sevierville Sunrise Rotary Club and Gatlinburg Rotary Club!

We love being out in the community and having conversations about the mission of Safe Harbor. Thank you so much to both groups who continue to support us and make us feel welcome. Your heart for children is very evident in the work you do!

When kids come to Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center, getting to choose their favorite snack and a water is a small detail that makes a big difference in helping them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

We were completely run out, but Pro Therapy Services came through to make sure our snack drawer stayed fully stocked with one of the top choices of snacks!

We are so grateful for local partners who care so deeply about the children in our community. Thank you for your support! 💙

We're excited to make it social media official and welcome Crystal to the Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center team! 💙

Crystal has been with us since June and joins us with a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Tennessee (she says, Go Vols!🧡) and a passion for supporting children and families who have been impacted by abuse and other difficult experiences.

She believes in creating a safe, supportive space where children and families feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout their healing journey. Her compassion, dedication, and heart for service make her a wonderful addition to our team.

Crystal shares, "I am honored to do work that allows me to connect with others and be part of their journey toward healing and hope."

We are thrilled to have Crystal as part of the Safe Harbor team and look forward to the impact she will make in the lives of the children and families we serve.

Your life was a beautiful reminder that one heart, rooted in kindness and generosity, can change the world.

With all of her heart, she gave children hope, opened doors of opportunity, and reminded generations that every child deserves to dream, to learn, and to know they are valued.

Her generosity has touched countless lives all over the world —including the children and families we serve at Safe Harbor.

She created a legacy that reaches far beyond what can be measured. It lives on in the children who have been given hope, in families who have found support, and in communities that are stronger because of her example.

Thank you for loving children so well. Your heart will never be forgotten.

When those who spend every single day loving on kids in crisis turn around to love on your staff, it leaves you completely speechless, deeply grateful and seen.

We could not say thank you enough to Isaiah 117 House leaders from the Sevier, Cocke, and Jefferson houses who showed up to bring Safe Harbor staff lunch! Not only did you feed us, but you poured into our hearts—praying over our team, sitting with us, and sharing intentional conversation about how we can collaborate even more deeply to serve children together in our community.

We are so blessed by your partnership, your hearts, and your unwavering dedication to bringing hope and comfort to kids when they need it most. Thank you for loving on us yesterday and for fighting alongside us every day! 💙🏠♥️

Please join us in welcoming Makenna to the Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center team as our Victim Advocate in the Forensic Interview Program! 💙

While Makenna may be new to our staff, she is certainly not new to Safe Harbor. Over the past year, she has been an integral part of our team as an intern in the FI program.

Makenna shares, "I'm excited to step into my new role as Victim Advocate at Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center! Safe Harbor has continually supported my learning and growth, both personally and professionally, and I'm so grateful to be part of a team that encourages me to keep learning and developing my skills. I'm looking forward to continuing to grow professionally, serve children and families, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we support."

Over the past four years, Ayla has served as a Victim Advocate, then as both a Victim Advocate and Forensic Interviewer, and now as our Forensic Interviewer & CPIT Coordinator. While this transition happened a few months ago, we wanted to take a moment to recognize her dedication and the impact she has on our team and the families we serve.

Ayla shares, " I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue growing with Safe Harbor in my new role, working alongside our multidisciplinary team to help ensure children’s voices are heard in the pursuit of justice.
