This weekend one of our Explorer Post members successfully completed a course offered by Pineland Resources in the basic fundamentals of tracking for SAR. We are proud to see the teens committed to becoming the next generation of Sevier County Volunteer Rescue Squad. Way to go!

This weekend, members of our Explorer Post participated in a much-needed landscaping cleanup at Station 1.

What?
*We accept applications for Regular Members and Rescue Explorers. With over 66 years of service, our organization is dedicated to delivering exceptional services.
Who?
*Applications for Regular Members are open to individuals 18+, while Rescue Explorer applications are open to those 16-18 with parental consent. Both classifications receive comprehensive training and use of our equipment.
When?
*Attend one of our business meetings on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays at 7:00 PM to obtain an application and discuss opportunities with our members.
Where?
*1171 Dolly Parton Parkway in Sevierville
How?
*To become a member, fill out an application, pass a background check, interview with an officer, attend required meetings, and sign up for trainings.

We provide various services, including motor vehicle accident response, heavy rescue, trench rescue, confined space rescue, and search & rescue, and partner with local emergency and fire agencies. Opportunities for advancement include Wildland Fire Taskforce, Dive Teams, and Search & Rescue Teams.
