Dear Individuals, Families , Guardians, Providers and County boards ,

Due to the state of emergency caused by Covid-19, The decision has been made to close all of our Link programs until further notice . This decision is effective beginning Monday, March 16 .

We ask our families for their patience and understanding during this unprecedented event. We recognize the enormity of this decision as it impacts the lives of our individuals as well as their families , guardians and providers . Please know that the health and safety of our individuals is our highest priority.

Thank you for your cooperation and patience as we work through this situation. We will share any updates as we have them.

Thank you ,

A message on the Coronavirus from our Director of Clinical Operations & Staff Development, Tony Kirkby -
As the Coronavirus (Covid-19) continues to spread across the U.S. and with confirmed cases in our neighboring county, I want to take a moment to let you know what The Society is doing to respond to this public health emergency. First and foremost, The Society will continue to focus on the health and safety of the individuals we support and the committed staff assisting in their care. We are assessing and evaluating the situation daily and are following recommendations provided to us from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) as well as maintaining our relationship with our local health departments. I am continuing to develop, update and provide current, relevant and reliable guidance and information to all of our staff so that they are fully informed to protect the individuals and themselves. Please, be assured that we are taking every precaution to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 into The Society and The Links. We have implemented guidelines and instruction to our staff in regard to visitors, outings, cleaning and traveling.
As we navigate this uncertain time together, I want to reaffirm that the health and safety of our individuals and staff is our highest priority. As always, if you have any questions or concerns please reach out to me. I can be reached directly by calling 330-722-1900 ext.325 or email [email protected]
