Unwind and express your creativity at our upcoming Brush Hour painting session this Saturday, June 20! We will be painting a beautiful, vibrant "Seaside Escape" seascape complete with colorful beach umbrellas. 🏖️🌊

UPDATE: The Battle of the Pterosaurs on Highway 34 is getting intense! 🌪️

Week 2 has come to a close, and it’s a fight for the ages! Kilgore Memorial Library's Quetzalcoatlus maintains its lead with a score of 296, but Seward Memorial Library readers have officially leveled up.

We’ve successfully unlocked the Tapejara—a master of the air known for its incredible speed and maneuverability! While York held the sky this round, our new Tapejara is closing the gap with a score of 210.

How you can help us win Round 3:
It doesn't matter what you're reading—audiobooks, fiction, or non-fiction —it all counts toward our total! The more we read, the more powerful our Pterosaur becomes for next week's clash.

🚨 WEEK 1 SCORE UPDATE: Battle of the Pterosaurs on Highway 34! 🚨

The Summer Reading Smackdown is officially underway, and our rivals down the road at York's Kilgore Memorial Library took Round 1. With a score of 122 to 25, their giant Quetzalcoatlus has dominated the sky.

Our Seward Pteranodon is flying high, but it needs way more fuel if we're going to take down a giant next week! 🦅✨

Adult readers—now is the time to rally. Whether you are reading a couple of chapters before bed, listening to an audiobook on your commute, every single book logged brings us closer to overtaking York.
