Debate Watch Party THIS Wednesday at the Seward VFW! Our friends there will be cooking us up some delicious smoked ribs so you don’t want to miss it!

Our members had the privilege of participating in a very special moment at the VFW yesterday.

Ric and Claudia Horton, managers of the Seward VFW, have made such an impact in the lives of many of our members. Last night we were able to show just a bit of our appreciation by presenting a Quilt of Valor to Ric for his military service.

Thanks to Janice Moore for making this beautiful quilt and allowing us to be a part of it. Thanks to all our members who helped out last night. Thanks to everyone who came out and bought a meal — we had a great turnout and sold out of ribs in just 2 hours! We’re humbled to use this as an opportunity to support a great local organization like Seward Buddy Check.

Finally, thank you Ric and Claudia for everything you’ve done for our students and the Seward community.

Did you know it’s Freedom Week and this Saturday marks the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall?

In honor of Freedom Week and Veterans’ Day coming up, we wrote ‘thank you’ cards to veterans for their service and dedication to protecting our nation’s great freedoms. The cards will be given out at the Seward VFW this Friday at our rib meal. 60% of Friday night’s proceeds will be donated to Seward Buddy Check so be sure to come out, enjoy a great meal, and help us honor and support our local veterans. 🇺🇸

Tomorrow, Tuesday Nov. 5th is our next meeting in Thom 102 at 7:30 PM!

We'll spend some time writing 'Thank You' cards to Veterans that will be distributed at the Seward VFW for Veterans Day. We'll also be discussing a few upcoming items and having pizza!
