We are so thankful for the generosity of Lifestyle Tuxedos in Blackwood NJ, who recently donated more than 100 suits to our new Thrift Store!
This amazing donation will give our students access to professional clothing they can use for job interviews, internships, work experiences, special events, and so much more.
Our Thrift Store is more than just a place to shop—it is another opportunity for our students to build independence, practice important life and vocational skills, and prepare for their future. 💙

📚✨ WELCOME BACK, GCSSSD STAFF! ✨📚

Today was all about coming together, preparing for a new school year, and celebrating our incredible staff! 💙

Our first day back for in-service was packed with important information and meaningful conversations. Staff reviewed school expectations, safety procedures, Superintendent updates, Business Office and Human Resources information, as we prepare to make the 2026–2027 school year a successful one for our students.

We were also honored to welcome guest speakers from Gloucester County, along with members of our Board of Education, who shared their support and helped us kick off another exciting year.

And, of course, there was one very special moment that reminded us what GCSSSD is all about. ❤️

We celebrated the retirement of Heather Joyce, a truly dedicated lifelong GCSSSD employee with more than 25 years of service to our district! Her years of commitment, compassion, and dedication to our students and staff were recognized with a well-deserved standing ovation. 👏👏👏

What a meaningful way to begin the school year!

Here’s to a new year of learning, growing, supporting one another, and making a difference. We are ready! 💙🩶
