Gloucester County Institute of Technology (GCIT) GCIT is a four-year comprehensive high school for students with a focus on a career theme. We are a school of choice. GCIT is a model of high school reform.

As Gloucester County’s career-technical high school, we offer academy and vocational programs. Our programs are rigorous and entry is competitive. Academy students can earn a maximum of 30 concurrent college credits by graduation and all courses are honors level. Schools of students offer college preparatory or students may opt for honors or concurrent college credits. Students graduate with a dem

The 2026-'27 got off a to a memorable start with our annual Senior Sunrise, where the Senior class gets together before school to begin the school year with fun and laughter. The faculty and staff welcome a new Freshmen class to GCIT for 4 years of unrivaled education and memories to last a lifetime. We look forward to another amazing year at GCIT. Go Cheetahs!

Parents and Caregivers,

The 2026-'27 Free and Reduced Meal Application is located on the GCIT website, under the Department section, then Food Service tab. A new application must be completed EACH year for your student. By completing this application and being approved for free or reduced breakfast and lunch meals, your child would be eligible for additional benefits such as Physical Education uniform, PSAT, SAT and ACT fee waivers, reduced graduation fees or more.

Applications to this District need to be completed every school year. Students who received a benefit last year will go back to full pay status after September 2026. Families will then be responsible for paying for meals until the application has been approved.

It is time to register for senior parking! Parents and students must complete the online form found on our website www.gcit.org under Quick Links (it will go live August 10th). Once registration is completed you will be able to pick up your permit in the 400 office on or after August 24, 2026. All applications will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis. After we reach our limit, we will maintain a waitlist. Enjoy the rest of your summer!
