The Southern Webster County Fire Protection District is proud to recognize the dedicated men and women who make up our department.
Our district is currently made up of 23 members with more than 154 years of combined service to SWCFPD.
Our membership includes individuals who have dedicated decades of their lives to serving our communities, alongside newer members who are just beginning their journey in the fire service, some as recent as two days ago.
While our members come from different backgrounds, professions, and levels of experience, they all share one common purpose: serving and protecting our communities.
Being a volunteer firefighter is more than responding to emergencies. It means sacrificing personal time, attending training, maintaining equipment, and being willing to answer the call when our neighbors need us most.
At SWCFPD, we believe that being a volunteer department should never mean lowering our expectations. We remain committed to improving our training, strengthening our operations, and holding ourselves to professional standards.
Volunteer describes how we are compensated, not the level of service our communities deserve.
As we continue moving forward, we are proud of the experience within our department, the progress we are making, and the future we are building together.
