Tuesday marked an exciting new chapter for the Southern Webster County Fire Protection District.

Please join us in congratulating Chief Justin Levy on officially being pinned as the newest Fire Chief of our department.

Chief Levy has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the fire service through hard work, education, leadership, and a genuine passion for serving others. His vision of leading from the front, investing in our firefighters, mentoring the next generation, and continually striving to improve our department reflects the values we hold dear.

On behalf of the officers, firefighters, cadets, and members of Southern Webster County Fire Protection District, we are proud to welcome Chief Levy into this role. We look forward to working alongside him as we continue serving our community with professionalism, integrity, and dedication.

Congratulations, Chief Levy, on this well-deserved achievement. We are excited for the future of our department under your leadership.

Today was one of those days that reminds us why we love serving our community.

We had the privilege of spending the day with the amazing staff and families at the Fordland Memorial Library, talking with kids about fire safety, what firefighters do, and how they can help keep their families safe in an emergency.

Seeing so many smiling faces, curious questions, and excited kids climb aboard the fire trucks, explore the equipment, and (of course!) honk the air horn made the day incredibly rewarding. We hope everyone walked away with a little more knowledge, a little more confidence, and maybe even a spark of inspiration to serve their own community someday.

A huge thank you to the Fordland Memorial Library for inviting us and for putting together such a fun event with crafts, lunch, and an amazing atmosphere for everyone. We truly appreciate all the work that went into making the day such a success.

Community partnerships like these help build safer communities, and we are always honored to be a part of them.

Thank you to everyone who came out, visited with us, and made today so memorable. We canโ€™t wait to do it again!

๐Ÿš’โค๏ธ Stay safe!

Today, Your Southern Webster County Fire Protection District teamed up with Logan-Rogersville Fire Protection District to spend the day with the 5th graders at Fordland Elementary School for Career Day!

Students got a hands-on look at the fire service by learning about some of the many duties firefighters perform every day. From using extrication tools to play Jenga, to cutting rebar, the kids were able to safely experience some of the equipment and skills used in emergency situations.

We also talked about teamwork, safety, serving the community, and what it takes to become a firefighter. Thank you to the staff and students for having us โ€” we had a great time sharing what we do and inspiring the next generation! ๐Ÿš’๐Ÿ”ฅ Thank you Logan Rogersville Fire Protection District for your teamwork ๐Ÿ™‚
