Today was one of those special Seymour traditions that reminds us what school is truly all about. ❤️

Our SHS seniors took their final walk through the halls of the elementary and middle school they once called home. As they made their way through cheering students, teachers, and staff, it was impossible not to reflect on how far they’ve come.

For our younger students, it was a glimpse into the future. For our seniors, it was a walk down memory lane—back to the classrooms, hallways, and faces that helped shape their journey.

We are so proud of the Class of 2026 and all they have accomplished. As they prepare to take their next steps, we wish them success, happiness, and the confidence to chase every dream.

Once a Seymour Wildcat, always a Seymour Wildcat. 💙🎓🐾

☀️🎉 Field Day Fun at Bungay Elementary School! 🎉☀️

What a fantastic day of teamwork, laughter, and school spirit at Field Day! Our students enjoyed a variety of exciting activities, games, and challenges that encouraged cooperation, perseverance, and fun. From relay races to obstacle courses and everything in between, the energy and enthusiasm were contagious!

A special thank you to our teachers, staff, volunteers, and organizers who helped make the day such a success. Your hard work created lasting memories for our students and provided a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the end of a great school year.

Way to go, Bungay Bees! 🐝💙 We are proud of the sportsmanship, teamwork, and positive attitudes displayed throughout the day.

🥣💥 What an incredible day at CLS! Our students put on an amazing Cereal Box Domino Challenge, and thanks to the generosity of our families, hundreds of cereal boxes will be donated to the Seymour Oxford Food Bank. ❤️

There were a few spots where our domino run needed a little extra encouragement (and a gentle tap 😉), but the teamwork, excitement, and cheering made it all the more memorable!

Thank you to everyone who donated and helped make this event a success.

🐞🌟 Our CLS first graders put on a fantastic performance of The Bug Show!

From busy bees to beautiful butterflies, our students did an amazing job showcasing all they’ve learned while entertaining family and friends. We are so proud of their hard work, confidence, and enthusiasm!

On Monday, June 1, 2026, the Seymour Board of Education proudly recognized outstanding students, staff, retirees, and community members at the annual Board of Education Awards Ceremony.

Congratulations to our 2026 Teacher of the Year, Nicole Hiscock, whose dedication and commitment continue to inspire students and colleagues alike.

We also extend special congratulations to Seymour High School's top academic achievers:

Congratulations to both our baseball team and our softball team on winning Junior NVL Championships yesterday — both at home in front of enthusiastic crowds of Cougar fans!

Both teams finished their seasons undefeated and represented Seymour Middle School with tremendous Cougar PRIDE throughout the spring season. We are incredibly proud of our student-athletes, coaches, and the support shown by our school community.

If you see any of our baseball and softball players today, please take a moment to congratulate them on a job well done.
