Our office and Drop Off will be CLOSED Monday, September 7th.
Recycle, trash, and yard waste for Monday and Tuesday will both be collected on Tuesday. Trucks start at 7AM and could start on your street. Substitute drivers may run the routes differently than the usual drivers.

The City of Seymour Department of Public Works is accepting applications for a full-time GSG Laborer.

This hands-on position helps keep Seymour clean, safe and running smoothly. Duties include trash and yard-waste collection, operating an automated packer truck, assisting with snow removal, working in the recycling center and other duties as assigned.

Position Details:
• Full-time
• Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• CDL required
• Must be able to perform physically demanding work and work in adverse weather conditions
