On or after Friday, May 1, crews will close S.R. 7 just north of the Muscatatuck River/Graham Creek located between Vernon and Dupont to complete a box culvert replacement project. S.R. 7 is expected to reopen in early June, weather permitting. The detour follows S.R. 3 to S.R. 256 to S.R. 56/62 back to S.R. 7. 📲Additional information is here: https://bit.ly/4sSKwyg

📍Temporary lane/ramp closures - Seymour

Beginning late tonight, May 29, crews will close the right lane of southbound I-65 from U.S. 50 (Exit 50) to approximately three miles south of U.S. 50, to complete patching operations in Jackson County.

Crews will also intermittently close the southbound I-65 off-ramp to eastbound U.S. 50 at Exit 50 while work is in progress. Work is expected to take up to three days and be completed at this location early Monday morning, June 1.

Today, we gathered with our interns to help educate them on the different departments within the district, provide them with resources they can use this summer and in the future, as well as just to learn a little bit more about each one of them!

On or after Thursday, June 4, crews will begin bridge approach rehabilitation work on I-65 over U.S. 31 (Exit 76) in Taylorsville. Short-term single-lane closures will be used on northbound and southbound I-65. The southbound I-65 off-ramp to southbound U.S. 31 will also be closed while work is in progress. 📍I-64 in Floyd Co.

Beginning tomorrow night, May 29, crews will conduct 20-minute rolling stoppages on eastbound and westbound I-64 in Floyd County to accommodate utility relocation work. Work is expected to be complete early Saturday morning.

On or after Monday, April 27, crews will begin a bridge rehabilitation project on S.R. 335 over Bear Creek just south of Martinsburg. During the project, intermittent flagging operations and shoulder closures will be used on S.R. 335. 📍U.S. 421 in Greensburg

On or after Monday, June 1, crews will close U.S. 421 between East McKee Street and South Poplar Street to complete a bridge deck overlay project in Greensburg. The sidewalk will also be closed within the project area. U.S. 421 is expected to reopen in mid-July, weather permitting. 📍I-65/U.S. 50 Interchange - Seymour

Tomorrow, May 27, crews will close the southbound I-65 on-ramp from eastbound U.S. 50 from approximately 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. to perform patching operations. The ramp closure is expected to take up to one night, weather permitting.

🚨 I-65 will close in Louisville between I‑264 and downtown (Jefferson Street) starting June 1.

🚧 This short-term closure is designed to accelerate replacement of 3 bridges to ensure safe, long-term connections. This method saves more than a year of additional restrictions and delays on the interstate.
