Don't forget to join us this Sat. June 13th from 10AM-12PM for the Flewellin Memorial Library's Summer Reading Kick Off's Foam Party!!!

This is an all ages FREE EVENT and ALL are welcome to attend!!!
While joining us for our foam party, you can also register for this year's Summer Reading Program..."Plant A Seed, Read". We will also be handing out schedules of all of our fun weekly programs that we have planned for everyone for June and July.

We will be located at Purdy Park, directly next to the Shabbona Fire Department District's Administrative Building at 105 E. Navaho Shabbona.

The Flewellin Memorial Library has received an opportunity from our Shabbona Masons to where the Shabbona Masons will match donations received by June 1st to help fund childrens' programming at our library. If you'd like to contribute, donations can be made at the Flewellin Memorial Library @ 108 W. Comanche Shabbona, IL 60550. We thank you for your ongoing support!!!

It's National Library Workers Day - our favorite day of National Library Week!

Today we celebrate the hardworking, dedicated library professionals who power possibility in our neighborhoods, our schools, and our places of higher learning. As library workers across the U.S. continue to face challenges to their jobs and harassment from bad actors, it's essential we show up for them and voice our support for the work they do every day.
