I haven’t posted in a while. I’m sorry. I’ve been down most of the week. It started Sunday night with an ER visit with a severe allergic reaction to a wasp sting. ( I now carry an epi pen). Fast forward to Monday night and my back went out. Sciatica kicked in. BIG BAD. I went flat off my back basically until this morning. It didn’t stop the animals from coming. Thank God for the help I’ve had this week as I was unable to move most of the week but could give direction. You guys were AMAZING!! Betty,Holley, Lisa, Michael, Mia, and Markel. I’ve had a baby raccoon from West Point, a baby skunk from Mathews, baby ground hogs from Mathews and Gloucester ( thank you Cindy) and a baby fox from Barhamsville just this week. If I haven’t answered you or reached out, I apologize. If you still need help and I haven’t gotten back to you, please reach back out. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Hey everyone!! I’ve got an account set up at the vet!! FINALLY! Yaayyy! As we all know vet bills are very expensive. I’ve got two guys going for X-rays this afternoon. Toano Animal Clinic is wonderful with them!! If you would like to contribute to the vet care of these or any of the critters you are more than welcome to call them directly and tell them to put it on Max's Shuga Shack Wildlife Rehabilitation account. You can call them at 757-566-1100. Just tell them what you’re trying to do and they will post a credit to the account so that no one has to scramble every time we need to go to the vet. THANKS!! Just pulled back in the driveway. Hella crazy day. To Croaker to pick up these three from Williamsburg. Then to bottoms bridge to see about some foxes in a culvert pipe. Bought me a new shovel for that one. Then off to King William well, it says King but it’s exactly at the Caroline line to see about another injured fox. It’s been a long hot day. Over the weekend I had three from glacier Point come in two from Yorktown five from Beaverdam Park at Gloucester courthouse. It’s definitely baby season with a bang!!!

Is there ANYONE I MEAN ANYONE willing to donate fixing the AC in my Jeep Grand Cherokee for me and the critters??? I will provide you with a donation receipt for the cost or whatever it is that you need. I can also work off the cost at your shop after baby season of course. If there’s anybody that’s willing to do this the critters and I would be forever grateful. Please share so I can find someone.
