Saddles for Soldiers is a program designed specifically by Shadow Hills Riding Club to assist veterans and their families cope with the traumas and stress. “We are all here to serve those people who served our country” says The Saddles for Soldiers program director; Johnny Higginson. “It is a foundation dedicated to healing an

d helping our heroes return to life after combat”. The connection which develops between the soldier and the horse combined with the guidance of the horsemanship professional and support of the mental health practitioner provide a comfortable and healing environment where soldiers may heal emotionally and physically.
