Jeff “Bubblegum” Mullins, a Republican from the 9th district, is seeking election as State Senator. A Mullens WV native, Jeff currently resides in Beckley, WV with his wife of 22 years, Andrea, and two sons, Keith and Chase. Jeff has owned and operated multiple successful businesses throughout his career. He is currently the President and CEO Employers’ Innovative Network, a Professional Employer
Organization (PEO), which provides human resources services to small businesses. The company, which began in 2005 with 100 employees and now has over 4000 employees, was built by working directly with West Virginia small business owners, learning what their needs are and then providing services to fulfill those needs. If elected, Jeff would be able to use this business experience to work on legislation to assist small businesses. He is an active member of Glade Community Church. He is also extremely involved in The Down Syndrome Network, donating his time to working on increasing sponsorship and participation in “The Buddy Walk,” among other things. A major supporter of Christian scholastic athletics, he recently made a donation to put in a new hardwood floor in the basketball gym at the Greater Beckley Christian School. He is also the assistant coach for the “Challenger” Baseball team. This team is devoted to helping kids with mental and physical disabilities. "Bubblegum "attended Mullens High School, where he played on the back to back state championship basketball teams, playing with WVU standout Herbie Brooks. He went on to play basketball at Bluefield State College from 1987 to 1989, receiving first team all-conference honors his senior season, and receiving his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. Jeff is a licensed insurance agent and a member of NAPEO, APA, SHRM, BNA and is a board member of the Members Choice Federal Credit Union.
