Service isn’t measured by titles, crowns, or recognition, it’s measured by the lives we touch along the way.

Some of my most meaningful moments haven’t happened on a stage. They’ve happened in classrooms, at community events, and in conversations with young people who remind me why this work matters. These notes are more than pieces of paper; they are reminders that kindness, encouragement, and showing up for others can leave a lasting impact.

As Miss Mon Valley, service has given me the opportunity to connect with people across our state, share my story, and hopefully make someone feel seen, heard, and valued. These thank-you notes are my “why”, proof that even the smallest acts of service can make a difference.

Because at the end of the day, a crown isn’t about what it gives you. It’s about what it allows you to give back. 💙

🇺🇸 America 250: 50 States • One Sip at a Time 🥤

To celebrate America’s upcoming 250th anniversary, Coca-Cola recently released limited-edition Diet Coke cans featuring all 50 states. As soon as I saw them, I knew I wanted to take on a challenge of my own: collect every single one.

From the Mountain State to every corner of our nation, each can represents a unique piece of the American story. Through this challenge, I’ll be celebrating the places, people, and history that have shaped our country over the last 250 years.

Follow along as I track my progress one state at a time and see if I can collect all 50!

⭐ Current Collection: 1/50

Which state should I be on the lookout for next?

I had the opportunity to participate in Walking for Survivors in Morgantown, an event dedicated to supporting survivors of sexual assault and raising awareness for an issue that impacts so many individuals and families.

It was incredibly meaningful to stand alongside a community committed to advocacy, support, and creating a space where survivors feel seen, heard, and empowered. Events like these are an important reminder of the strength found in unity and the importance of continuing conversations surrounding prevention, healing, and support. 💜

My community Service The Invisible Fight: Fibromyalgia Awareness was created because of my experience with fibromyalgia, an autoimmune disease I’ve suffered from since I was 14.

The Invisible fight doesn’t just represent Fibromyalgia or autoimmune diseases, it is a shared community for all “invisible” illnesses. From mental health to diabetes, the invisible fight gives an opportunity to learn and share about different experiences.

Ive had the opportunity to teach classrooms about my community service initiative but also get the conversation started on what some students may or could be going through.

Along side the book “Ravyns doll”, our activity was to draw a paper doll with one side being “normal” in a cute outfit or smiling and on the other side mention something you or a classmate could be going through. I wanted to normalize the conversation of empathy and being vulnerable. Children shared their stories of ADHD or anxiety. Not only did we change the conversation in the classroom but we also changed the way they thought of themselves.

We walked away a stronger class and knowing that just because a struggle isn’t visible, doesn’t mean it isn’t valid 💜

With the American Heart Association (AHA) being the official partner of the Miss America Organization, it is so important to know our why.

As l’ve previously shared, my Mamaw underwent a triple bypass surgery after the doctors found 3 blocked arteries. 11 years later I am beyond thankful to the doctors, medicine, and research that went behind giving me more time with my Mamaw.

The AHA does an incredible job at not only informing on possible symptoms one could be experiencing but also prevention tips.

Thank you always to the American Heart Association for your commitment to heart health. Thank you to the doctors who gave my Mamaw a second chance and many more years of listening to Chris and Rose on Q102. Most importantly thank you to my Mamaw for being my why.

I can’t believe it has been a month since orientation!!

Meeting all of the girls was so much fun and I look forward to learning more about them. MAO has the most amazing girls and everyone is so deserving of the titles and platforms they have.

Only a couple more weeks until we crown our next Miss wv!!
