Did you know... for the last three years Shaftsbury Elementary School has collected over 200 pounds of aluminum!

The aluminum, in the form of can tabs, is brought to The Ronald McDonald House. For every donated pound of aluminum, the Ronald McDonald House gets 50-75 cents, which benefits families who are staying at the Albany Medical Center.

Our Student Council sponsored a food drive last week! Thanks to the hard work and care of our students and community, we were able to collected 10 boxes of food!
