The Notice of Proposed Property Taxes (TRIM Notice) will be mailed in August for Okaloosa County homeowners, so now is the perfect time to make sure your mailing address is correct!

If you've recently moved or want your TRIM Notice sent to a different mailing address, please update your information through the Address Change Request Form on our website before the notices are mailed. The form must be signed by a property owner.

Visit the Okaloosa County Property Appraiser website www.okaloosapa.com to submit the Address Change Request Form electronically, or contact our office if you need assistance. Help ensure you receive this important notice without delay!

🎉Great news! The 2027 Homestead Exemption application is now available online!

To access the application, you must first do a Property Search on our website www.okaloosapa.com (under Quick Links) for your primary residence. When you see the Parcel Summary, scroll down to the link and click the “Homestead/Add’l Exemption Applications” button to apply online.

✅ Applicants will receive a copy of their application by email after submitting
✅ Senior applications are now available online too
✅ You may still apply in person at our Shalimar or Crestview offices
✅ Please call our office with any questions or for assistance

📌 Key dates to remember:
• You must qualify by January 1, 2027
• Applications must be submitted by March 1, 2027

📞We will reach out to you if we do need additional information; otherwise, we always say "no news is good news!"
