The full itinerary for tommorows SFB 2026 Block party is here! The weather forecast says rain showers but that’s not gonna dampen our day! The fire dept responds rain or shine ans we hope you do too! Tommorow fire apparatus will be lining 3rd st from chestnut to water for judging. The parade will begin at 12pm. Line the route and show your support for our local fire crews! The parade begins at second and chestnut st. It will go up second to pine and make a left on pine st. Go down to sixth at and turn right to mulberry. Left on mulberry to market. Proceed down market st to Lincoln. Lincoln to Shamokin st. Turn left onto chestnut off of Shamokin st. Go to pearl, to race, back to Shamokin st. We will than be going onto independence st, back to water where at 3rd and water it will end. Get your umbrellas and ponchos and than head on over to the Claude kehlor bandstand on arch st Shamokin. There will be many things to do there! The Ralpho fire coming will have their foam cannon for the kids. Bouncify rentals will have THREE bounce houses. The Friendship Fire Co will have games. The Independence Fire Co will have their incredible potato cakes. The Rescue fire co will be selling block party food and have a beverage tent (must bring ID so you can be banded). The dunk tank will feature many local celebs to get wet. Live music entertainment will be RATL 1-4pm. Trophies will be presented during there show. 4pm we will be hosting a Chief Brand Hot Dog eating contest where 10 contests will square off to see who’s our local Joey chestnut! We still are looking for 5 more contestants, $20 entry fee that goes straight to supporting our local firefighters. 5-7pm is the great JT Thomas. And then our headlining act Kinsey will perform 7-10pm. Arch st will be lined with the following vendors: Linda’s Cookies, Shamokin PD K9 Program, Forest Hills Fire Co selling Mr Stickys, Into the Mystic, Inside the Teacup, Shamokin Fire Police Chinese Auction, Confectionary Imaging Alcohol infused Cupcakes, Oasis Recovery, Walmart eye center, Shamokin community gardens, Bahama sno shack whom will be donating a portion of their proceeds from tommorow back to the SFB, and Renewal by Anderson. Tshirts will be on sale for this years block party thanking all of our amazing sponsors whom we couldn’t have done this without.
