Good morning Sharon
First I want to say thank you to the residents of Sharon and visitors to our town for cooperating with the burn ban I know it's hard with it being summer not to have the fires that we like to enjoy but its help out on us responding to calls with that being said we are going to allow small campfires with protective rings for the holiday weekend please no bonfires it's still dry we desperately need rain thank you again for your cooperation

Beaver meadow just before drum holler is closed with a tree and power lines down in the road Carpenter road by 1199 is closed with trees and power lines down in the road there's a power line down at the beginning of route 132 by 326 in the road please find alternate routes thank you

Thanks everyone for cooperating with the ban happy to say camp fires with a protective ring are good anything larger requires a burn permit all year long this way we can log burns with dispatch so we don't have to leave our families to go investigate a control burn
