Time of Incident - 7:01 PM
Location - 588 N. Sharpsville Avenue
Victim: John Shemansky Age 69
Synopsis:
At 7:01 PM on Tuesday, December 07, 1976 the Sharon Police received a call from an unknown male subject requesting that the Police come to 588 N. Sharpsville Avenue. In addition the male advised that he had been shot. Officers arrived on scene and an ambulance arrived on scene and transported the victim, Mr. John Shemansky to Sharon General Hospital (now Sharon Regional Health System). Mr. Shemansky expired in the Emergency Room at approximately 8:40 PM. Information gathered from the victim indicated that this was a robbery.
