The Sharon Water Department recently received the Utility of the Year Award (populations serving 3,301-49,999) from the New England Water Works Association. In attendance to accept the award were Water Division Supervisor Rob Terpstra & Public Works Superintendent Eric Hooper, who received the award from NEWWA President James Decelles.

The Town received this award for continuing planned capital projects (tank replacement, main replacement and meter replacement) while at the same time responding to the PFAS crisis.

Another big announcement 📣 before the holidays arrive! Our annual Grand Tasting event will be here at our Sharon location on Sunday September 11th from 12-4pm. Over 50 vendors will be here to sample their outstanding wines, spirits, and ready to drink cocktails!! Food, music, and the Patriots game on our large screen tv will all be ready for you! Stayed tuned and we will post our allocated bourbon list for our raffle that day.
