Training saves lives! 💡 During a recent workplace training hosted by our officers, we learned an incredible story. One of the attendees of the training successfully performed life-saving CPR on someone—just shortly after attending a CPR class with our very own City of Sharonville Fire Department! Emergency training is so important because you truly never know when you will need to put those skills to use. We highly encourage everyone in our community to find a local program and get certified. 🚔The Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign starts TOMORROW!

👮‍♂️You may see increased police presence on your daily commute and throughout the night from August 19th through September 7th. The purpose of this campaign is to keep our officers highly visible in an effort to reduce the number of crashes, injuries, and fatalities caused by impaired driving.

🚨High-visibility enforcement can reduce impaired driving fatalities by as much as 20%. In 2025, the Labor Day reporting period saw 17 people killed in OVI-related crashes in the state of Ohio.

🤳Safely pull over and call 9-1-1 if you suspect that you are driving near someone that is operating a vehicle while impaired.

On August 5, 2026, four Sharonville police officers were given the profound honor of laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery.

Officers Altman (Coast Guard), Risk (Marines), Roberts (Army), and Salyer (Army) represented our department during this solemn ceremony. They were escorted by the elite sentinels of the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (“The Old Guard”), who protect the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier 24 hours a day, 7 days a week—one of the highest honors in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Following the wreath‑laying, the sentinels welcomed our officers and their families into their quarters for a private briefing on the history and significance of the Tomb.

Also, during their time in Washington, D.C., our officers were welcomed at FBI Headquarters on Pennsylvania Avenue by our federal partners and also attended the U.S. Marine Corps Sunset Parade, featuring the Marine Drum & Bugle Corps and the Silent Drill Platoon.

As our country continues to celebrate its 250th birthday this year, it was a great honor to represent our city and its people at Arlington National Cemetery and in the National Capital Region.

There is a jackknifed semi-truck on I-75 Southbound near the exit from I-275 Westbound. There are 3 lanes closed on I-75 SB near the 16.4 mile marker. Please detour, if possible.

Sharonfest is always a BLAST!
Our officers and civilian employees love to hang out with the absolute best residents. We met some of the sweetest kids tonight, too. We are ready to hand out some more freebies tomorrow, so come visit us!

TRAFFIC ALERT - 7/24/2026:

3 lanes of WB 275 will be closed in the pictured area from 7 PM this evening through Monday morning (by 6 AM).

The ramp from US 42 to WB 275 will be closed from 10 PM tonight and will reopen by 5 AM on Monday.
