Water Main Break โ€“ Clay & 9th

Residents in the area of Clay Street and 9th Street should be aware of a large water main break. The roadway is currently experiencing significant damage/sinking between 8th and 9th Streets.

HSWA has been notified and is responding to the situation.

Residents may also experience temporary brown or discolored water as a result of the water main break and the work being done to restore the system. If you notice discolored water, please allow your cold water to run for several minutes until it clears.

We appreciate everyone's patience as crews work to address the break and restore the roadway and water service. Please use caution in the area and avoid the affected portion of the roadway when possible.

We will provide additional updates as more information becomes available.
