Shasta Dam Kiwanis Club

Shasta Dam Kiwanis Club Kiwanis clubs, located in 80 nations, help their communities in countless ways. Each community’s needs are different—so each Kiwanis club is different.

Shasta Dam Kiwanis Club serves the children of the Shasta Lake City and greater area with projects like our backpack program, scholarships and Literacy projects. By working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone. When you give a child the chance to learn, experience, dream, grow, succeed and thrive, great things happen.

Several Kiwanians have served as Reading Pals at Grand Oaks and Buckeye School of the Arts this year. Volunteering an hour a week can make such a huge difference in the life of a child, if you have time to give reach out and we’ll get you connected!

On National Teacher’s Day, our Kiwanis club honors the incredible educators who shape the future of our children. Teachers do more than educate—they inspire confidence, spark curiosity, and guide students through life’s challenges. Their dedication and compassion reflect the very heart of Kiwanis’ mission to serve the children of the world. Thank you to every teacher for the lasting difference you make each and every day. 🍎

What a truly enriching celebration of Week of the Young Child! Our club successfully connected with four preschool programs, spreading joy to children of all ages, from infants to four-year-olds, through the magic of books. It was absolute delight to see every child take home their very own book 👏
