Well, it’s official...”The Spinning Wheel” is history. Kind of a sad day for us, but an awesome new beginning for “Dockers On The Corner”! We wish you ALL THE BEST, Cari and Scott!!

What can we say besides THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! What an AMAZING last weekend we had!! Our party Friday night was a lot of fun. So many memories were shared with all of our “family “ at The Spinning Wheel. We could not have had a better send off... we love all of you and we will miss our great times at the restaurant. May 18th is the projected opening for “Dockers on The Corner”...please support Cari and Scott in their new venture - we know we will!! Love all of you - steve and Lisa

We did it....!! It’ a bittersweet, but it’s time.

WE'VE SOLD THE SPINNING WHEEL! It has been more than 100 years since The Spinning Wheel Inn began serving fine food and cocktails on a busy Lake Drive corner in Shawano. After nearly 50 years with the Lemhouse Family mixing the best old fashions, serving award winning Friday fish, and hand cutting delicious Thursday night steaks, we have found a buyer for our beloved supper club and will be turning over the keys to the new owners on May 1st, 2021.

Steve began his supper club career at the restaurant in 1970, 51 years ago, as a dishwasher. He was promoted to "son of the owners" when his parents, Fred and Lydia Lemhouse, bought the supper club in 1972. Steve has owned, operated, and loved the Spinning Wheel since 1994 when his mom passed away and Fred moved to the other side of the bar. Like many other happily married couples, Lisa and I actually met at the Spinning Wheel and were married 17 years ago. We have entertained thousands of friends at the wheel over the years and sell the restaurant knowing we will miss the business and all of the friends we have made here.

The Spinning Wheel name will retire with the Lemhouse family. The buyers plan a new name for their Supper Club and will continue the 100-year tradition of great food, spirits, and friends on the corner.

We are sure they will be making their introductory announcements soon.

The Spinning Wheel will be open every Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday until Thursday April 29th - which will be our final steak night and dinner service. We hope to get the chance to see all of our friends and the many seasonal visitors who have made the Spinning Wheel part of their evenings for the past 51 years before we end the Spinning Wheel's 100 year run. After May 1st - we hope to see you out for dinner and on the other side of the bar!

Thanks for your love, support, laughs, and friendships over the past 51 years. Come see us at the Spinning Wheel so we can thank you in person and toast more than 100 years of fun at the Spinning Wheel.
