When it comes to the dedication of our First Responders, you won't find any more dedicated than those in our county.

When a kitty needed rescue, Deputy Knoles sprang into action. Little did he know he would end up needing a rescue himself.

That's where the Bethel Acres firefighters came running, bringing our ladder to help ensure Deputy Knoles safety as well as the safety of the kitty.

Earlier this morning, a cross-commissioned Citizen Potawatomi Nation Police Officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle in Dale. The vehicle initially stopped, but the driver—later identified as Jason Marshall—fled the scene on foot.

A perimeter was established, and a search was conducted; however, Marshall was not located.

Marshall currently has outstanding warrants for failure to pay. Law enforcement officers remain in the area, and you may notice an increased presence in Dale as efforts continue to locate him.

At this time, there is no known threat to the public.
