NEW CLASS THIS YEAR — SURVIVOR CLASS 💙

At the Child Advocacy Center, the word survivor means something to us.

Every day, we have the privilege of serving children who have been through things that have left marks on their stories—but those marks don’t take away from their beauty, their strength, or their worth.

So this year, we’re adding a Survivor Class to the 2nd Annual Driven for Justice Car Show on October 3rd at Life.Church in Shawnee from 9 AM-1:30 PM.

This class celebrates the cars that still wear their history proudly—the faded paint, worn chrome, scratches, dents and patina that tell you this one has lived a story.

Not perfectly restored.
Not made new again.
Still beautiful. Still standing. A true survivor. ❤️

Happy National Dog Day to our favorite little guy, Cope! 🤍🐾🤍

Cope may technically belong to our Executive Director, but we’re pretty sure he thinks the CAC belongs to him. 😂 From making his rounds to visit staff, sneaking in cuddles, and greeting kiddos with that little wagging tail, he has quickly become part of our CAC family.

His name, Acopetha, means “watcher/protector,” which feels pretty perfect for a little guy growing up surrounded by people whose job is to protect kids. 🤍

We love you, Cope! 🐾

Restoring a car takes time, commitment, resources, and people willing to invest in something worth preserving. Protecting children and pursuing justice takes that same kind of investment.

Your participation helps ensure children who have experienced abuse or violence are heard, their voices are valued, and the professionals working their cases have the resources needed to pursue justice and hold perpetrators accountable.
