The Central Oklahoma Economic Development District (COEDD) Area Agency on Aging is part of a nationwide network that coordinates supportive services for older persons sixty years of age and older. COEDD-AAA is one of eleven Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) in Oklahoma that contract with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services-Aging Services Division to administer federal and state programs for senio

◾Identify the need for social and nutrition services with special attention given to those older persons with the greatest economic or social need.
◾Advocate for older persons by strengthening the awareness of service providers, elected officials, civic organizations and the corporate and voluntary community regarding the needs of older persons.
◾Utilize federal funds to fill identified service gaps.
◾Provide technical assistance and training to service providers and the private sector organizations pertaining to aging programs and services.

Did you know that billing errors could cost you money or leave you vulnerable to fraud? Spotting billing errors is an important way to protect your Medicare benefits. Review your Medicare Summary Notices and Explanation of Benefits statements for charges you don’t recognize, services you didn’t receive, or duplicate charges.

If something doesn’t look right, contact your provider or the Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) for help. Together, we can prevent fraud, errors, and abuse in Medicare.
