Kansas City, we're teaming up with Nick & Jake's Shawnee for a World Cup Watch Party! ⚽️

Join us on Friday, June 19, to cheer on the action while supporting Sunflower House and the children and families we serve. We'll be on-site selling raffle tickets, with every ticket purchased helping provide safety, hope, and healing for children impacted by abuse and trauma.

We're excited to share that Marilyn Roberts has now donated her 500th handmade blanket to Sunflower House!

Each blanket is lovingly crafted and placed on our shelves, ready to be given to the children and families who come through our doors. More than just a blanket, these gifts provide warmth, comfort, and a reminder that an entire community cares about them during difficult times.

We're also deeply grateful to everyone who shares their time, talents, and treasures with Sunflower House. Your support makes our mission possible and helps us continue providing hope and healing to those who need it most. 💙🌻

Overwhelming gratitude. 💛🌻

Sunflower House is incredibly honored to share that we were selected by the Hunt Family Foundation as one of just 18 organizations to receive a grant this year, and for the very first time! Receiving this $20,000 award is a meaningful investment in our mission to provide hope, healing, and justice for children and families in our community.

We were also grateful for the opportunity to celebrate alongside fellow nonprofit partners and community leaders. This recognition reflects the dedication of everyone who touches Sunflower House including staff, volunteers, donors, community partners, and every person who believes that children deserve a safe place to be heard and supported.

Thank you to the Hunt Family Foundation for investing in organizations that strengthen our community and create brighter futures for children. We are deeply grateful for your partnership and look forward to the impact we can make together.
