Families and friends, as you enjoy spending time outdoors together, remember that it's peak tick season in wooded and grassy areas. Stay alert and don't ignore the risk. Take a few minutes to check everyone for ticks after your outdoor activities, including children and pets. If you notice a tick bite, a rash, or symptoms such as fever or fatigue, seek medical care if needed. A quick tick check can help keep everyone safe while enjoying the outdoors.
