Duckling Season is Underway!🐥🐣

If you come across ducklings trapped in sewer drains or other hard to reach spots, we’re here to help! Call the Sheboygan County Emergency Communications Center at (920) 459-3322.

Our crews responded to such an incident earlier today and were able to safely assist. The ducklings were successfully reunited with their mother, who had remained on scene throughout the incident.

We’re always happy to help ensure these little members of our community receive the help they need.

Please join us in congratulating Firefighter/Paramedic Toni Kotansky on completing her paramedic program through Milwaukee Area Technical College Fire Academy (Oak Creek, WI).

Honoring all our firefighters past, and present.

“The role of a firefighter in today’s society – be it urban, rural, natural environment, volunteer, career, industrial, defence force, aviation, motor sport, or other is one of dedication, commitment and sacrifice – no matter what country we reside and work in. In the fire service we fight together against one common enemy – fire – no matter what country we come from, what uniform we wear or what language we speak.”

Yesterday was a big day for the Sheboygan Fire Department and our community.

We want to sincerely thank everyone who came out to donate blood at our drive. Your willingness to give is what makes programs like this possible and helps save lives right here in Sheboygan.

At noon yesterday, we officially began carrying blood on our ambulances and picked up our first units. This is a major step forward in the level of care we can provide, allowing our paramedics to deliver life-saving treatment sooner—when minutes matter most.

We also want to extend a huge thank you to Aurora Regional EMS, Aurora Medical Center Sheboygan County, and their lab and blood bank teams. Your partnership, expertise, and hard work were critical in bringing this program to life for our community.

This is a great example of what can be accomplished when strong partnerships come together with a shared goal—providing the highest level of care to those we serve.

Thank you again to everyone who made this possible.
